General Chapters

The General chapter is a collegial gathering of sisters representing the whole Institute. It is the highest extraordinary authority in the Institute and is its legislative body. Its principal function is to protect the identity of the Institute and foster appropriate renewal in accordance with that identity. It is ordinarily convoked once in six years.
